    The Competition consists in the execution of the Competition task by the Participants, which is to develop a visual concept of a small architectural form (spatial-architectural installation or art object) for the Polish-German Gardens in Warsaw with the theme of:
    „Reflection on NEIGHBORHOODS and spending time TOGETHER, but also WITH EACH OTHER”.
    With regard to the prize awarded in the Competition, the project should cost no more than PLN 100,000 (one hundred thousand Polish Zlotys) gross. This should include the cost of acquiring permits, supervision, works (including earthworks) and materials.
    The study should be a digital file with a resolution of 300dpi, a 100×70 sheet saved in PDF or TIFF format, containing a description of the concept and legible drawings and/or visualizations, including 3D visualizations. It is also possible to send a mock-up of the project; however its submission must be agreed with the operator beforehand.

    • The conceptual design must fit in and match the surroundings of the location indicated on the overview map.
      Due to the fact that Skaryszewski Park is included in the register of monuments under the number A-875, according to the conservator’s recommendations:
      – hat the object should take into account the historical compositional axes of Skaryszewski Park and the spatial view links with other park structures, i.e. first of all the visibility from the opposite bank of Kamionkowskie Lake;
      – in the case of installations with lighting elements, they cannot be exposed during the whole night, in order not to disturb the daily rhythm of birds and small animals living in the park and the lake
      – the maximum height of the object or its elements cannot exceed 3.5m.PROVIDED:
      – the use of contemporary materials, while maintaining compositional uniformity with other architectural elements of Skaryszewski Park;
      – collision with pedestrian tracts and roads or important underground linear installations;
      – tree root cutting
      – removing trees or bushes;
      – installation on trees.
    • The design must take into account the fact of potential implementation, which assumes: durability (all-year-round feature), possible execution with environmentally friendly materials, protection of the existing flora and fauna, safety for the visitors to the Gardens (no need to fence in and provide additional protection to the object and people), harmony and blending in with the surroundings of the Gardens;
    • The study must be described with the artist’s name and surname.

    The design can be (among other things) functional and spatial.
    The Competition is directed exclusively to natural persons with full legal capability.
    The Competition shall be held in the Polish language.
